Remarks

About the object date:  Datering volgens Remnant 1969
About the origin:  Oorspronkelijke locatie onbekend
General remarks:  Twee losse misericordes waarschijnlijk afkomstig uit Engeland. Ze hebben enige overeenkomsten met de misericordes uit Chichester Cathedral volgens Remnant 1969. Dr. Georgia Vullinghs, conservator van the National Museums of Scotland, schrijft op 17-12-2024 in een e-mail het volgende: "Q.L.1933.2153 Scottish History and Archaeology; Carved prie-dieu or miserychord with foliage between two human heads; Q.L.1933.2154 Scottish History and Archaeology; Carved prie-dieu or miserychord with a bishop and the devil on his back between two bishop's heads."
